The continued support of conventional healthcare infrastructure remains a key priority and we have continued to foster relationships with hospitals throughout the country. This year we have supported clinics in Kharkiv and Donetsk Oblasts, Cardiovascular operations in Kyiv, the last remaining paediatric hospital in Zaporizhzhia and have acted as a life line for the last and most vulnerable hospitals in Kherson
Casus Pax has been fundamental in the successful implementation of the National Police of Ukraine Paramedic teams in Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk regions through the provision of ambulances and trauma materials. These Police Paramedics are new units specifically designed to complete the most challenging civilian evacuations in the most vulnerable areas of the country. These teams have deployed the aid provided by Casus Pax and have prevented civilian deaths in doing so.
Our work with the Ukrainian Emergency Services is ongoing and we will continue to serve at the fore of CBRN readiness. We shall also continue to supply paramedic and fire crews while diversifying our emergency equipment provision to include materials for de -mining in Kherson Oblast. These supplies are lifesaving and critical in ensuring a safe civilian environment.
2023 also saw the development and deployment of the first Casus Pax education programs. This is a
multifaceted, needs driven series of objectives, the ground work for which was completed in co-operation with the Ukrainian Ministry of Education and local stakeholders in November. Throughout 2024 we anticipate completing our first education programs including the restructuring of primary school bomb- shelter facilities, the equipping of secondary school level STEM classes and the fostering of co- operation between university departments internationally to promote academic liaising and cultural exchange.
